Our Mission
Friends of Niņos Adelante mission provides high achievement
students from poor families in Zihuatanejo,
Mexico, the opportunity to complete their education through a scholarship (beca)
program.
Who We Are And What We Do
Friends of Niņos Adelante is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization
organized
for the sole purpose of providing financial support to Niņos Adelante, a
Mexican chartered non-profit organization founded by a group of Americans in
Zihuatanejo in 1978.
Niņos Adelante, working with Zihuatanejo area
teachers and school administrators, qualifies students for scholarships (becas)
based on need and academic performance.
